Our farm blends glamping stays, seasonal agritourism, and small-town charm. From stargazing in a cozy yurt to floating down the river at sunrise, we’ve created a place where families, friends, and adventurers can slow down and reconnect.

OUR STORY
South River Farm, LLC began as a dream of sharing our love of farm land, river, and open skies with others! Owned and operated by local families, the farm is a true passion project, where we blend agricultural activities, hospitality, and adventure in one serene setting. We believe in creating simple, magical moments—under the stars, beside a fire, or on the river. We invite you to come see what makes our corner of the Shenandoah Valley so special.
The Shenandoah River is the heart of our campground experience. Launch a kayak or float the day away in a tube, cast a fishing line from the shore, or just kick back and take in the views. Whether you’re in for adventure or relaxation, the river is your front-row seat to both.
Explore miles of private trails winding through open meadows, shaded woods, and along the river’s edge. These trails are perfect for morning walks, birdwatching, or letting the kids burn off energy in a safe and scenic setting.
Our farm transforms with the seasons. In the fall, grab a wagon and head to the pumpkin patch. As winter rolls in, come pick your perfect Christmas tree. With more seasonal fun on the way — like planting days, hayrides, and holiday pop-ups — there’s always something new to experience.
Camp under the stars just steps from the Shenandoah. Choose a primitive tent site, or keep an eye out for our upcoming RV pads with full hookups. Clean, spacious, and close to nature, our campground is designed for both adventure and comfort.
This quiet, scenic path meanders along the river and through parts of the farm, offering peaceful moments and great spots for photos, birdwatching, or just taking it all in. Ideal for all ages and fitness levels.
Unplug in style with a stay in our fully furnished stargazing yurts. Each one features cozy beds, charming decor, and everything you need for a comfortable night on the farm — all while staying connected to the sounds and serenity of nature.
